Grok Bot vs Meta Muse for Small Business

Short answer

Grok Bot (xAI and Cursor) is a beta of always-on agents that suits technical users and teams, bundled with SuperGrok and Cursor plans. Meta's Muse is a personal agent for the US and Canada that runs in an app, on the web and inside WhatsApp, with a Small Business version. Neither has confirmed phone-line answering as of October 2026.

Two big-company agents, two different personalities

Grok Bot and Muse both give an AI agent its own cloud computer. After that they diverge. Grok Bot grew out of a developer-heavy world: Cursor accounts, desktop apps, a terminal. Muse grew out of a consumer one: a personal agent that lives where Meta's users already are, including WhatsApp.

For a small business owner, the useful question is which of those worlds your day looks like. Everything below is as of October 2026.

Where Grok Bot wins

  • Team structure. Team Bots, enterprise audit logs and admin group access give it more team machinery than Muse has confirmed.
  • Workflow routines. It learns a task shown once and saves it as a routine on a schedule or trigger.
  • Platform reach. Windows, Linux and Android are covered, and no region limit is published for it, although its regions are not confirmed.
  • Developer comfort. Terminal, files and a Linux machine.

The tradeoff: its shared-computer design means xAI says not to treat separate Bots as a security boundary, and the weekly allowance is unpublished. See Is Grok Bot good for business.

Where Muse wins

  • WhatsApp. Muse runs directly inside WhatsApp, which Grok Bot has not confirmed.
  • Small-business connectors. QuickBooks, Shopify, Stripe, Slack, Klaviyo, HighLevel, Canva and Facebook and Instagram business accounts are listed.
  • Price to try. Meta says it is free for most needs.
  • Learns your business. Muse for Small Business learns what you sell, your tone and common customer questions, and flags emails that need replies.

The tradeoffs: it is personal rather than team-based, available only in the US and Canada, and Meta's stronger Muse Confidential VM is planned for later this year, not available yet. Meta says users can opt out of training use, and independent analysis reports the setting is on by default.

What neither one is

Neither is a managed service, and neither has confirmed a business phone line. Both ask you to learn the product and supervise it. If a customer rings your shop at 6 pm, neither has published a way for the agent to pick up.

Oraculo fills that gap differently. An engineer sets it up with you in four 1-hour Zoom sessions, and the employee answers and places calls on your business line, texts, follows up on leads and works across WhatsApp, iMessage, Slack, Telegram and email with one shared memory. Starter is $12 per hour with a 6-hour weekly minimum, about $312 per month, plus $499 setup and a 30-day money-back guarantee. See Oraculo vs Grok Bot or Oraculo vs Meta Muse.

Frequently asked questions

Is Grok Bot or Muse better for small business?

Muse for Small Business has more business connectors listed and runs inside WhatsApp, but only in the US and Canada and as a personal agent. Grok Bot offers Team Bots and workflow routines for technical teams. Neither has confirmed phone-line answering.

Does Muse cost money?

Meta says Muse is free for most needs, with subscription plans for more but no prices on its newsroom. Press reported a free tier plus $20 and $100 per month plans. Treat the paid prices as reported, not official.

Can Grok Bot or Muse answer my business phone?

Neither has confirmed it as of October 2026. Grok Bot's app has voice chat with the agent, and Muse has no published phone feature. Use a product that lists phone answering if calls matter.

Which is available outside the US?

Muse is limited to the US and Canada. Grok Bot's regions are not confirmed, though it has desktop, iOS and Android apps. Always check availability in your own country before planning around either.

Which handles privacy better?

Neither is simple. xAI says Grok Bot's Bots share one computer, and Meta's Confidential VM is not available yet while its training setting is reportedly on by default. Ask each vendor about data use before sending client information.
